Introduction
Welcome to the Windrow Galleries, the official website of fine art by the late award-winning contemporary American painter Patricia Hope Windrow.

Shown here are unique artworks arranged in a gallery presentation under the headings you see in the column to the right. Clicking on these categories, you can tour the collection, which includes paintings, drawings and other works.

Patricia Hope Windrow was a realist painter whose style combines a keen observation of natural detail, a superb sense of color and an imagination of classic taste. Working on stretched canvas or board with paintbrush as well as palette knife, Windrow evoked strong images that are contemporary yet timeless. In addition to her many original oils are prints of works such as the painting, "World Trade Center from the Brooklyn Side, 1982," which captures the serene river in which is reflected the once familiar New York skyline. Other prints are available including some showing the Skyline Drive on the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley.

A world traveler who always carried her paints and brushes with her, Windrow painted scenes of Italy, France and Belgium as well as the United States, from Long Island and the Shenandoah Valley to Florida and the desert Southwest.

This site will be updated as new paintings are added: currently we are not selling any Windrow works, but prints and giclés of some pieces are available.
